How To Play The Jonah Hammer Slot

The Jonah Hammer slot, like most other online video slots, uses a grid with three rows and five reels. There are 10 paylines running across the grid from left to right. Before you start playing, you’ll get to choose a number of paylines to be covered by your bet (any number from 1-10) and a coin value (multiple options from 0.01 to 5.00). When you’ve got your bet set up, click the ‘Spin’ button to give the reels a spin. If you want to turn on autoplay, where the spinning is done for you, click the ‘Autoplay’ button.

Jonah Hammer Slot Features

• Western Theme. Jonah Hammer is a western-themed online slot game. The story is that a gang of three outlaws known as the Santa Fe 3 have robbed a town and made off with Granny Hammer’s savings. Her grandson, Jonah Hammer, is determined to track down the outlaws and return her savings to her. The slot’s really well designed and even includes a video animation of a comic book you can view in the paytable that adds to the background. It’s one of WGS’s best slot games in terms of design and presentation. Visit our western-themed slots section to find more slots themed to the wild west.
• Audio. The slot’s soundtrack includes western-style background music and some sound effects that are quite realistic.
• 10 Paylines. In order to win, enough matching symbols must land adjacently from left to right on a payline that’s covered by your bet.
• Symbols. The six low-paying symbols are wooden playing card ranks, each of which is adorned with flowers. There are three more valuable symbols that stick to the slot’s theme: these are a cowboy hat, a cowboy - the titular character Jonah Hammer - and a bison The most rewarding of these is the bison. Its payout for five on an active payline is 1,000x your coin value. The horse pays for two or more on a payline; all other standard symbols require three or more on a payline for you to win with them.
• Bonus Symbols. The wild symbol shows a cowboy riding a horse. As well as substituting for all standard symbols to help you win, it pays for two or more on an active payline. Win with five wilds and you’ll be paid a sum equal to 4,000x your coin value. The sack of cash is one of four scatters. It pays for three to five anywhere and if you win with five, you’re paid 200x your total bet. The other three scatters are members of the Santa Fe gang of outlaws. They appear on reels 1, 3 and 5 only.

Jonah Hammer Bonus Features

• Free Spins. Land three, four or five cash scatters to earn 5, 10 or 15 free spins respectively. Our free spins page lists many more great slot games where you can earn free spins.
• Bandit Hunt. This feature gets triggered if outlaw scatters land on reels 1, 3 and 5. You’re taken to a map where you get to choose a location - canyon, town or train - to hunt down one of the outlaws. Play a pick-me game where you blow up canyon boulders, smash open wine barrels or break apart crates on a train to reveal prizes. Each round ends when an outlaw is revealed. When you return to the base game the setting is based on the round you’ve just played. Once you’ve played all three map locations, you get to uncover the hideout and may even find the mastermind behind it all.
• Opti Nudge. If the bison symbol lands on the fourth reel and you’re betting on all 10 paylines with no wins earned on the current spin, the Opti Nudge feature gets triggered. You can nudge each of reels 2 and 4 once, either up one position or down one position. This can cause new winning combinations to be formed and it can trigger the free spins round.
